Very fortunate to have found Philip at Northline Electric to upgrade our electrical panel, move the outside unit to the side of the house, install an EV charger and to supply a safe electrical connection to our detached garage. The following reasons are why we will always use Philip for our electrical needs in the future. 1. 5 star reviews! While Northline Electric didn’t have hundreds of reviews. What I valued was the comments from previous customers comments. We received the same experience! 1. Pricing! The first thing we did was use the internet to search companies that were licensed, bonded and insured and ultimately research what the costs would be for the work we needed done. What we’ve experienced in the past is that bids always come in WAY over the searched price. Philip’s pricing came in around the searched pricing which made us feel good that we were not getting ripped off! 2. Communication - Philip is a great communicator! From the beginning, to give us a bid, he came to our house early and ready! EVERY step was clearly given to us, from the coordination with PUD and other inspectors! Philip always pushed to get the job done ASAP even asking to come in as early as 7am if we were available! 4. Work ethic - Philip’s work ethic is unmatched, something we really value! Always on time and would communicate when he was 15mins away. Philip is very POLITE, hard working and enthusiastic about his job. He has great knowledge for such a young man, able to answer every question backed up with current codes. Our electrics was a mess (we knew this). Philip was very sympathetic, reassuring that we could fix everything to code and that getting it to that standard was not going to be such a big mountain to climb! This comforted us so much that we were so excited to begin the work! 5. Attention to detail . We felt that Philip did not cut corners with the trenching and movement of our panel. Philip’s work is so clean and neat and he clearly cared about the appearance of our home and went out of his way to ensure his tracking of cables etc. was invisible! Phillip did a great job in completing a number of projects around our house including the installation of two outdoor outlets, setting up a connection to an outdoor lighting system including associated switches, and connecting our kitchen cabinet lighting. If you need an electrician, Philip (the owner) is your guy. He did an awesome job installing a couple of heaters for my outdoor deck. Right from the start, his communication was incredible. He sent me an estimate immediately and even helped me narrow down which heaters to consider. He went above and beyond by ordering them for me to secure a discount, and brought them right with him on installation day. When it came to the actual appointment, he told me exactly what day and time he would arrive, and he was right on time. I even threw a last-minute request at him to wire up a transformer and prep things for my landscapers to connect yard lights later, and he was happy to help out. Philip is skilled, trustworthy, and incredibly responsive. Plus, he’s just a great, friendly guy who is easy to chat and joke with.
